  1. The 5% rebate* is applicable to all clothing and apparel transactions at all local and international retail shops.
    * This applies to retail shops which are stand-alone stores and are not located inside a department store. Clothing and apparel retail shops are defined as all establishments under any of these Merchant Category Codes (MCCs): 5137, 5611, 5621, 5631, 5641, 5651, 5655, 5681 and 5691. These are merchants which fall under the descriptions Men’s, Women’s and Children’s Commercial Clothing, Men’s and Boys’ Clothing and Accessories Stores, Women’s Ready-to-Wear Stores, Women’s Accessory and Specialty Stores, Children’s and Infants’ Wear Stores, Men’s, Women’s and Family Clothing Stores and Sports Apparel, Riding Apparel Stores. Some examples include Lacoste, Banana Republic, Dockers, Gap, and others. In identifying merchants which are classified as clothing and apparel stores, RCBC Bankard shall be bound by the Merchant Category Codes assigned by the bank which provides the POS terminals.
  2. The rebate is applicable anytime of the year on straight-charge purchases made using RCBC Bankard Visa Infinite credit card. Installment transactions for clothing and apparel will not earn rebates.
  3. Clothing and apparel transactions for the cycle will qualify for the 5% rebate provided the total spend on non-clothing and apparel (including installment amortizations for clothing and non-clothing transactions) for the same cycle are at least equal to the total spend for clothing and apparel.
  4. Annual membership fees, cash advances, balance transfers, balance conversion and any other form of fees or charges shall not be considered in the computation of non-clothing and apparel spend.
  5. Rebates earned for the cycle will be reflected in the following month’s statement of account.
  6. To qualify for the rebate, the RCBC Bankard Visa Infinite credit card account of the cardholder should be active and in good credit standing at the time of computation and posting of the rebate. 
  7. The maximum rebate amount per calendar year is P 5,000.
  8. Rebates are not transferable to another person or to another RCBC Bankard credit card account.
  9. The rebate may not be exchanged for cash or redeemed as points.
  10. Where rebates have been credited to the cardholder’s RCBC Bankard Visa Infinite credit card account and/or used before the purchase is charged back, the card account will be debited for the credited rebates.
  11. Fraud and abuse relating to earning or redemption of rebates may result in forfeiture of rebates and termination of the cardholder’s RCBC Bankard Visa Infinite credit card account.
  12. The rebate rate and the basis of calculation of rebates are subject to change at RCBC Bankard’s sole discretion. The decision of RCBC Bankard on all matters relating to the rebates shall be final. RCBC Bankard shall not be liable to the cardholder for any damages or penalty arising from or in connection with the rebate program.
  13. Any remaining rebates including those still to be applied to the account of the cardholder shall immediately cease to be valid upon cancellation of the RCBC Bankard Visa Infinite credit card or conversion to another RCBC Bankard credit card brand. No refund, extension or compensation shall be given to the cardholder upon cancellation.

  • You must be 21-65 years old to qualify as a Principal Cardholder.
  • You must be 13-65 years old to qualify as a Supplementary Cardholder.
  • You must have a mobile number and landline in your place of work.

    Requirements for Employees

  • Completely filled-out and signed application form
  • A copy of one (1) valid ID with photo and signature
  • A copy of any proof of income:
    • Income Tax Return and/or W2 with BIR or Bank Stamp
    • Latest payslip stating monthly salary
    • Original Certificate of Employment (COE) with annual income details and signed by authorized Human Resources Group signatory. COE must not be more than six (6) months old

    Requirements for Self-employed or Businessman

Service Fee for Foreign Currency Transactions For Peso Cards, 3.50% representing the Mastercard/Visa/JCB/UnionPay assessment fees and the Bank's service fee. For foreign currency transactions converted to Philippine Peso at point of sale, whether executed in the Philippines, abroad or online, a service fee of 2.25% shall be applied to transactions amounting to P1,000 and up, or its foreign currency equivalent.
Multiple Payment Fee P40 for every payment in excess of 3 payments within a statement cycle in non-RCBC payment channels: Bancnet, BDO, BPI, CIS Bayad Center, SM Payment Center, Unionbank
Dormancy Fee All active cards with negative balance will be charged a Dormancy Fee of P200 or an amount equivalent to the credit balance (whichever is lower) if there is no activity for 24 months. Likewise, all blocked/closed accounts with negative balance, will be charged with a Dormancy Fee of P200 or an amount equivalent to the credit balance (whichever is lower) if there's no activity for 3 months.
Over Limit Fee Php500 will be charged on cycle day when the Outstanding Balance plus unbilled installment exceeds the account's permanent credit limit on cycle day. If an account has a stand-alone installment limit, the account will be considered Over limit if the sum of the regular Outstanding Balance, Installment Outstanding Balance, and unbilled installment exceeds the sum of the regular credit limit and stand-alone credit limit on cycle day.
