Country’s First Shopping Mall Co-Branded Credit Card

RCBC Bankard is poised to take the mall experience to a higher level with its successful launch of the Sta. Lucia Mall-RCBC Bankard MasterCard, the country’s first shopping mall co-branded credit card.

A collaboration between RCBC Bankard, Sta. Lucia Mall, the preferred shopping mall east of the metropolis and MasterCard, the card is designed to bring unparalleled value to cardholders via rewards, rebates, discounts and other privileges at Sta. Lucia Mall Department Store, Sta. Lucia Supermarket, Home Gallery, Planet Toys as well as in all participating tenants of Sta. Lucia Mall.

It was a double celebration for Sta. Lucia Mall as it celebrates its 20th anniversary. The two-fold launch, one for Sta. Lucia Mall trade partners and another for the mall customers featured a mall show featuring great entertainment courtesy of Calvin Millado, Christine Marquez, Allan Alojipan and Jenny Villegas.

Gracing the event was no less than Exequiel Robles, Sta. Lucia Mall and Sta. Lucia Realty president, and Oscar Biason, RCBC Bankard president & CEO.

Also present were Sta. Lucia Mall executives represented by Andrea Robles-Andres, VP for finance and administration; Zaldy Santos, VP for marketing and mall operations; Aireen Robles, VP and Sta. Lucia Supermarket general manager; and Delia Leon, AVP Controller, together with RCBC Bankard’s Ping Reyes, EVP & COO; Bogs Cumpas, VP for merchant business and OIC of card sales distribution; Aileen Rodas, VP for marketing; Irene Taylo, AVP for co-branding and partnerships; and Mylene Jocson, AVP for business development.

Representing MasterCard were Judith Marie Dayrit, vice president for marketing and member relations and Ailea Zialcita, vice president for market development.

Giving mall-goers even better reasons to visit Sta. Lucia Mall, the Sta. Lucia Mall – RCBC Bankard MasterCard gives cardholders a 0.5% year-round rebate on all transactions, including a 1% year-round discount at Sta. Lucia Supermarket and as much as 10% discount from participating tenants of Sta. Lucia Mall.
