- REWARDS PROGRAM
Earn generous and non-expiring Rewards Points/AIRMILES/Cash Rebates when you use your RCBC Bankard to pay for retail purchases, monthly installments, and recurring bills (i.e. Fast BillsPay). However, the use of RCBC Bankard for gambling transactions and quasi-cash payments, such as money transfer and securities investments, will NOT earn Rewards points/AIRMILES/Cash Rebates.
- MINIMUM INTEREST AMOUNT
Please be advised that, effective June 30, 2017, the interest to be applied will be P25/US$0.50 or 3.5% per month computed on daily outstanding balance, whichever is higher.
- LATE PAYMENT FEE
Starting June 30, 2017, the late payment fee for past due accounts will be P400/US$8. In instances of multiple past due occurrences exceeding three (3) months for the past 12 months, the following late payment fees will be applied: P500/US$10 late fee (4 to 6 months) or P600/US$12 (7 months and above).To avoid being charged late payment fees, please pay your dues on or before due date.
- FOREIGN CURRENY TRANSACTION
All charges and transactions made in currencies other than Philippine Peso will be automatically converted to Philippine Peso using the daily retail foreign exchange rates published by RCBC or alternatively at an exchange rate determined by Mastercard/Visa/JCB/UnionPay. The exchange rate applied is determined on the date of posting to the Cardholder’s account and may be different from the rate in effect on the date the transaction was made. The converted amount shall also be charged 3.50% representing the Mastercard/Visa/JCB/UnionPay assessment fees and the Bank’s service fee. Similarly, a service fee of 2.25% shall be applied to transactions amounting to Php1,000 and up, or its foreign currency equivalent, involving foreign currency transactions converted to Philippine Peso at point of sale, whether executed in the Philippines, abroad or online and shall cover assessment fee and such other costs incurred or necessary to discharge the amount(s) due to Mastercard/Visa/JCB/UnionPay.
- CASH ADVANCE
Get access to cash here in the Philippines and abroad through your RCBC Bankard’s Cash Advance facility. To avail of Cash Advance, you need to use the Personal Identification Number (PIN) that was mailed to you. If you need a new PIN, simply call us up at 888-1-888 (for regular cards) or 888-1-883 (for Premium Cards). Note that Cash Advance transactions are subject to a 3% service fee or P500/US$10 and a finance charge at the prevailing rate which will be computed from availment date until full payment date.
RCBC Bankard is EMV ready
In compliance with the BSP mandate, all RCBC Bankard Mastercard, Visa, JCB, and UnionPay credit cards are now 100% EMV chip compliant.
RCBC Bankard Services Corporation (RBSC), the credit card servicing entity of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC), made good on its promise to comply with the transition to EMV chip cards.
BSP (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) mandated all banks to make the transition to Europay Mastercard Visa (EMV) chip enabled cards before January 2017. EMV chip technology is currently a global standard for all credit and debit card transactions. Many banks across the world have foregone the magnetic stripe cards for the use of safer EMV chip cards, ensuring that their cardholders are constantly protected from the threat of fraud and ATM theft.

Migrating to the new EMV Cards not only furthers this goal but also signifies RCBC Bankard’s dedication to synchronize with global advancement in order to provide better services for our cardholders.” says Simon Calasanz, RCBC Bankard President and CEO.
RCBC Bankard officially completed their EMV chip transition for all new and existing RCBC Bankard credit cards last November 29, 2016. The transition began in 2015 and has reached a 100% re-issuance status by the end of 2016. Existing RCBC Bankard credit cardholders, be it Mastercard, Visa, JCB, or Unionpay were sent their upgraded cards in the mail at no additional cost.
